Today Ballybrack is a suburb of Dublin, but back in the 19th century it was a village close to Hacketstown and held its own races. The first meeting was staged in February 1865 and was judged to be so successful that a second meeting, with a 3 race card, was held on Thursday 1st February 1866 when the feature race was the Ballybrack Flat race which was won by Hath Berry. No further meetings were held in the future. |
